rebarcamp is a series of events that have been sweeping the nation.  From the first event, held in San Francisco, CA in 2008 (the day before Inman Connect), these events have been happening coast to coast. 

It is often billed as 'the unconference' since it is heavily dependent on user input and discussion rather than presentations.  In fact, the specific topics won't be scheduled until the morning of the event.  Attendees that want to share or learn about specific technologies or subjects can ask or offer those items for inclusion on the schedule. 

While it sounds like chaos, it allows participants to 'find their own level'.  Nothing is worse than spending precious time and money attending a conference and walking away without the opportunity to learn what YOU were there to learn.  Whether you are a newbie looking to get started in social networking, looking for tips and tricks and advice to get the right start, or a social butterfly with thousands of followers looking for the next level, this format gives YOU a better opportunity to learn what YOU came to rebarcamp to learn. 

BTW, it isn't JUST technology.  The only limit we place on sessions is that they need to be real estate related.  Aside from the obvious technology subjects, which have been hallmarks for previous rebarcamps, there are also subjects like short sales, listing presentations and dealing with problem clients.  If it is related to real estate, it isn't off limits.

This second local event is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 28th, 2011, at the Mansour Center in Marietta, GA.  It should be a really cool event, an incredible learning and a great networking opportunity.
